Showing serious concern over the death of an elderly person namely Sonaullah Bhat of Malangam Bandipora North kashmir jammu kashmir, while waiting in a long queue for submitting his old age pension form in Tehsil Social Welfare office Bandipora, kashmir today Mohammad Amin Tantray kunzer President especially abled association Baramulla on Tuesday has reiterated the demand for simplifying the whole process.
Tantray expressed dismay over hardships being faced by the disabled, widows, divorcees, old aged, orphans, BPLs, pensioners, transgenders, downtrodden and other destitute who are getting meager pensions through the Social Welfare Department in online registration.
The beneficiaries, who are old-aged including the disabled are being made to sit in large queues for hours in sub-zero temperatures outside concerned offices which led to the unfortunate death of this poor elderly person.
The Especially abled president Baramulla (leader) Mohammad Amin Tantray urged the administration to take measures for simplifying the whole process and demanded immediate relief for the victim’s family.
And facilitate the old aged on door steps, he added that its shame for our administration concerned who are not taking care of such persons, who are dependent on others, like Especially abled, orphans, widows, old aged etc.
He once again appealed govt to facilitate the old aged for age certificates on door steps of these persons.
