In pursuance of Indian Army’s resolve to strike a chord with the local populace, Zainakote Army Camp organised a day with company commander with Students and Teachers of different schools of the Battalion Area of Responsibility at Haiderbeig.
A total of 12 teachers and 180 students of six different schools participated in the event and played various fun filled games like Sack Race, Pick the Ball and Tug of War. An informal interaction was also done with students and teachers on the occassion. After the games and refreshement a movie “Dangal” Was also shown to the students in Zorawar Hall, Headquarter 10 Sector. All the teachers appreciated the efforts undertaken by army and wanted more such events to be conducted in future.
The students were filled with enthusiasm and excitement. All the winners were faliciated and the event culminated with lunch.
