Hazrat Syed Ali Hajweri Rehmatullahi Tala Alihi

Hazrat Abu ul Hassan Bin Usmaan Rehmatullahi Tala Alihi popularly known as ( Data Ganj Bakhsh ) was born in August 14, 1009 CE 19 Safrul Muzaffar 399 AH in famous Ghazni city of Afghanistan in a middle class and religious family. He was the great spritual saint of South Asia of 11th Centuary, a persian , Sunni, Hannafi muslim, theologian and preacher from GHAZNA, who became famous throughout the World for composing ” KASHFUL MAHJUB ” meaning unveiling of the hidden which is consideredthe most earliest formal treatise on SUFISM in Persian.
He is believed for his contribution significantly to spread the message of ISLAM in South Asia through his virtues, preachings and teachings. He is considered as the most important figure in spreading ISLAM in Indian Sub Continent.
Hazrat Khawja Ghulam Mohi ud Din Chesti ( Ghareeb Nawaaz ) Rehmatullahi Alihi stayed for about three years at his mausoleum and quoted a tribute to him as a narration :
“گنج بخش فیض عالم مظہر نورا خدا
ناقصاں را پیر کامل, کاملاں را رہنما ”
Hazrat Ali Hajweri ( RA) is a direct descendant of Hazrat Mohammad ( SAW ) through his father, who was a direct descendant of Hazrat Immam Hassan Alihi Salaam Ibni Mola Ali ( AS). Hazrat Ali Hajweri travelled to Bhagdad and Damascus where he met many of the pre eminent SUFIS of his time. He recieved SUFIC training in the Hannafi rite of orthodox Sunni Law under various teachers like Al khattali to Al Hasri, Abu Bakr Shibli ( 946 ) and Hazrat Junaidi Bhagdadi in ( 910 ). As per history, he lived in IRAQ too for a short period. His book ” Kashful Mahjoob ” was translated into ARABIC by a great Egyptian Sufi scholar Abul Azeem.
Eventually he settled in Lahore , Punjab province of Pakistan where he died with the reputation of a renowned preacher, teacher and spritual saint in 1072 CE 20 Ziqaddah 464 AH.
In this way he spent total life of 65 years on this planet.
